  • City of De Soto Trash Re-Routing – Effective June 1st
    The City of De Soto is updating its waste collection schedules starting June 1st. Here’s what you need to know:
    🗑️ Trash Service Changes
    Thursday pickups move to Friday
    Alley pickups will now occur on Wednesdays
  • Bulk item pickup:
    Limited to 2 items, scheduled in advance
    Collected on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month
    A separate truck will handle all bulk collections
    Call ahead to schedule
  • ♻️ Recycle Service Changes
    Wednesday routes move to Tuesday
    Pickup on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays (North of Boyd Street)
    Alley pickups: 2nd and 4th Thursdays for addresses South of Boyd Street
  • 🌿 Yard Waste Service Changes
    Follows the same North/South Boyd Street split as recycling
    Pickup on 2nd and 4th Mondays
    North of Boyd – 2nd Monday
    South of Boyd – 4th Monday
    Replaces the previous last Wednesday collection
    Please adjust your schedules accordingly and contact city services for more information.
