City of De Soto Trash Re-Routing – Effective June 1st
The City of De Soto is updating its waste collection schedules starting June 1st. Here’s what you need to know:
🗑️ Trash Service Changes
Thursday pickups move to Friday
Alley pickups will now occur on Wednesdays
Bulk item pickup:
Limited to 2 items, scheduled in advance
Collected on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month
A separate truck will handle all bulk collections
Call ahead to schedule
Recycle Service Changes
Wednesday routes move to Tuesday
Pickup on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays (North of Boyd Street)
All Alley pickups: 2nd and 4th Thursdays along with addresses South of Boyd Street
Yard Waste Service Changes
Follows the same North/South Boyd Street split as recycling
Pickup on 2nd and 4th Mondays
North of Boyd – 2nd Monday
South of Boyd – 4th Monday
Replaces the previous last Wednesday collection
Please adjust your schedules accordingly and contact city services for more information.
