CITY OF DESOTO

The De Soto Fire Department has 3 full-time firefighters that work 24 hr rotating shifts.  The Assistant Fire Chief Craig Block works Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The De Soto Fire Department has many people who dedicate their time as Volunteer Firefighters. Without the dedication and the commitment of these individuals fire protection for the city would be limited.  It is because of their dedication to the fire service that the city is able to provide the coverage needed to insure the safety of every citizen.

Along with operating in the city.  The De Soto Fire Department responds to assist other agencies when requested.
