Home & Garden Show
In 1993 this show began with just a few exhibitors echoing in a half empty hall and has gotten so large that now it has filled two floors and a parking lot. Exhibitors come every April from several counties to display their latest wares and to give demonstrations.

March 26th is the date for 2011 15th Annual Home Show

Golf Tournament
This is a very relaxed tournament in April where all the members of the Chamber of Commerce and other business people in the community can enjoy each other’s company. The food is great and the weather is almost always perfect. There are always great prizes and a wide range of skill levels.

April 15th is the date for the 2011 tournament Rain Date April 22nd

Installation & Awards Banquet
This is an evening to reward all of those who have worked throughout the year to bring about these events and those who work in the community in other ways. It is also a time to enjoy some fine food and entertainment as the new Chamber of Commerce Officers and Directors are installed.

April 29th is the date for the 2011 Installation & Awards Banquet

Outdoor Extravaganza
2nd Annual Event. A fun-filled festival at Sheet Metal Contractors Inc. Vendors, activities, and food throughout the day from 9-5pm followed by live music and a beer garden from 6-11pm make this an event everyone can enjoy.

Fourth of July in De Soto on July 3rd, 2010

Parade on Main St 10 AM

Theme: "Celebrate America!"

The spirit of Patriotism could not be higher than in De Soto. The many veterans groups, the National Guard Armory, and the individuals whose home town upbringing have left them with a great pride in their country, all turn out for one of the biggest parades in the county. Parade at 10:00am

20th Annual DeSoto Fall Festival

September 18, 2010 9am-4pm in Walther Park

Always a beautiful place for Fall, Walther Park hosts this annual event for over 5,000 people to have an opportunity to enjoy the park, craft and food vendors, entertainment and much more. In cooperation with the police and park departments, the De Soto Chamber of Commerce delights in bringing this event to its community.

Christmas in De Soto

Theme: To Be Announced

This holiday involves the entire community in the spirit of Christmas. The beginning of the season will be celebrated with the lighting of the Christmas tree in front of City Hall on Friday evening. With music from the band, songs from the choir, and the sounds of the bell ringers, you are sure to feel the Christmas spirit. Warm yourself with hot chocolate and join friends and family as we listen to the reading of the Christmas stories. On Saturday, the Christmas parade starts at 6:00pm, Santa House will be open at the Chamber office after parade. Camaraderie with friends, family, and other members of the community make this evening one to remember.

December 3rd is the date for the start of the 2010 Christmas season.

Santa House will be held at the Chamber of Commerce office at 412 S. Main Street
